CONCEPT
Wagokoro Hide Yamamoto (former name of 'Kappo Yorito') at The Quayside offers a Kappo cuisine under the supervision by Chef Hide Yamamoto.
Kappo refers to Japanese cooking methods that include cutting, frying, stewing and boiling, where the dishes are prepared with a focus of seasonal ingredients.
In order to keep them fresh and seasonal, all seafood and vegetables are flown weekly from Japan- either TSUKIJI market or directly from HOKKAIDO.
Menus are served in a Kyoto Kaiseki manner, including a must try Duck Consomme Oden, homemade Soba and counter served Tempura. The new concept will allow you to enjoy some of the signature dishes from Hide Yamamoto as well.
Seatings are arranged as 12-seat counter plus a private dining area, which gives you the sense of fine dining with personal touch, but leaving a comfortable and lively atmosphere that will make you feel like home.
